I created this artwork for Culture Strike's campaign to uplift reproductive justice. I connected with Montse "Mujer de la Tierra" and knew instantly I wanted to honor her & the incredible ancestral Indigenous medicine she carries. This is my offering, a light in a time of such heavy onslaught of politics that attempt to strip us of our rights and fill us with fear. I hope this empowers folks to understand that our bodies are ungovernable, that our community healers continue to provide access to holistic care & that abortion is ancient, it will never be outlawed.
